Independence day Celebration

Nambikkai Vaasal Old Age Home in Salem celebrated the 79th Independence Day with great joy along with the senior citizens living there. The home was decorated with the Indian flag, flowers, and colourful papers. The celebration started with flag hoisting by the eldest resident of the home, followed by the national anthem sung by everyone.

After the flag hoisting, some of the elders shared their memories of past Independence Day celebrations. The staff and volunteers arranged cultural programs like patriotic songs, dance, and speeches. All the residents enjoyed the programs and felt proud to be part of the celebration.

Special sweets and snacks were distributed to everyone. The atmosphere was full of happiness, unity, and patriotism. The event brought smiles to the faces of the elderly.

The management thanked all supporters and donors for helping make the day memorable. It was a day filled with respect, love, and national pride.
