Founder of Nambikkai Vaasal Trust

Kavignar Eagalaivan, also known as Mohammed Meera Mohideen, is the founder of Nambikkai Vaasal Old Age Home. He is a kind-hearted social worker, a poet, and an author who has written and published more than 20 books. His poems reflect love, humanity, and the real struggles of life.

With a deep passion for helping others, he started doing social service by providing food for poor people on the roadside. His team regularly gives meals to the needy with love and care. He also encourages young students by conducting education competitions and giving them prizes, aiming to motivate and support their learning.

​

Through Nambikkai Vaasal, he is giving shelter, care, and happiness to many senior citizens who have no one to look after them. His life is a true example of kindness, dedication, and service to society. He continues to inspire many with his humble work and pure heart.

Pasiyilla Salem

Nambikkai Vaasal Old Age Home is not only a home for senior citizens but also a place that spreads love and care to the poor. For the past 5 years, the team has been regularly donating food to poor people living on the roadside. This kind work is done with the aim of removing hunger and bringing smiles to the faces of the needy.

Every week, fresh and healthy food is prepared and served with respect and care. The founder, Kavignar Eagalaivan, alias Mohammed Meera Mohideen, believes that no one should sleep hungry. With this thought, he started this food donation service and continues it with full heart and dedication.

Along with caring for elders, Nambikkai Vaasal shows real humanity by helping those who are suffering. This simple act of feeding the poor has touched many lives and given hope to hundreds of people over the years.

Nambikkai Vaasal Old Age Home is not only taking care of senior citizens but also helping physically challenged poor people. For the past 5 years, the home has been donating groceries and other basic support items like clothes, medicines, and daily needs to those who are in need.

Many physically challenged people struggle every day to meet their basic needs. Understanding their pain, the founder Kavignar Eagalaivan, alias Mohammed Meera Mohideen, started this good service. With love and care, the team visits different areas and gives support directly to the people who need it most.

Alagoviyam

Nambikkai Vaasal Old Age Home is not only a shelter for elders but also a place that supports and encourages students. For the past 12 years, the home has been conducting free classes, drawing competitions, and chess competitions for school students. These activities help students to improve their talents and grow with confidence.

The founder, Kavignar Eagalaivan, alias Mohammed Meera Mohideen, believes that education and creativity are the keys to a better future. So, he started these programs to motivate students from all backgrounds, especially those from poor families. The winners are given prizes and certificates to appreciate their efforts.

These competitions and classes are fully free and open to all. Many students have benefited and developed their skills through these events. Nambikkai Vaasal continues to support young minds with love and care, making a big difference in their lives through small but powerful efforts.
